From a business need
to a working product.

I’m Ayan Hayat. I turn business requirements into usable websites, workflows and internal tools, directing AI-assisted implementation from brief to review.

AI implementation, workflow design & web delivery

The thinking.
The work.

Three projects that connect a business problem to something people can use.

LUMORIA’s live booking page, with property choices, an itemised shoot price and a date-selection action.
The live public configurator. No customer data.

LUMORIA

A service journey, connected from choice to delivery.

A customer-facing booking configurator backed by the practical details of running a photography service.

My role
Journey design, requirements, visual direction and implementation review.
Tools & environment
JavaScript · Cloudflare Workers, D1 & R2 · payment integrations

The challenge

A photography booking is more than a date. Scope, location, crew eligibility and availability have to agree before a slot can be offered.

My decisions

I defined the customer journey, operational requirements and acceptance criteria. I directed AI coding agents through the implementation and reviewed the visual details and connected workflow.

The outcome

The live service journey connects configuration and availability with job information, photographer dispatch, payments and invoicing. The public link lets you explore the customer experience.

A choice that starts with the customer.

  1. Your preferences
  2. Guided questions
  3. A product to explore
Product-finder structure. A diagram of the journey, not a storefront screenshot.

Satori Formulas

One brand. A clear path through the range.

The brand and customer-facing business for a six-product supplements range, including packaging, a Shopify storefront and its product finder.

My role
Brand creation, packaging, commerce experience and customer journey. The underlying product and formulation were outside my scope.

The challenge

A product range needs more than a collection page. The identity, packaging and route into the catalogue need to feel like parts of the same business.

My decisions

I built the brand and customer-facing business around the range: visual identity, packaging, Shopify experience and the customer quiz. I used AI-assisted development as part of the web implementation, directing the journey and reviewing the output.

The outcome

A live branded storefront with a product-discovery quiz and a route into the catalogue. This case demonstrates the brand and commerce work; the product itself and its formulation were not my work.

The conversation

“Let’s make the enquiry handoff clearer, then review it before release.”

A reviewable plan
  • Map the current handoff
  • Build the agreed changes
  • Review before release
Illustrative example. Synthetic content, with no client meeting data.

Meeting to roadmap

A conversation that becomes a usable plan.

An on-demand workflow that reconciles meeting evidence with business knowledge, then produces a structured implementation plan for review.

My role
Workflow specification, context design, implementation direction and acceptance criteria.
Tools & environment

The challenge

Meeting summaries can preserve a conversation while leaving the next action unclear. Existing decisions, completed work and later corrections also need to survive the handoff.

My decisions

I directed a workflow that brings the meeting and relevant knowledge together, separates commitments from proposals, and produces a plan in the portal’s accepted structure. Review and schema validation are part of the handoff.

The outcome

A reviewable plan with ordered phases and flat checklist steps. It runs on demand; an import is a separate action. The example below shows the structure with synthetic data.

A small example of the output

The real workflow uses source evidence and the destination’s schema. This sample uses fictional content and creates no live tasks.

  1. Map the current handoff
  2. Build the agreed changes
  3. Review before release

Understand it.
Build it.
Check it.

The tools matter. Knowing what to ask them to do, and when the answer is wrong, matters just as much.

  1. Find the actual need

Talk to the people involved. Map the current process, its constraints and the decision that needs to become easier.

  2. Make the brief buildable

Turn the need into a user journey, clear requirements and concrete acceptance criteria. Use existing knowledge before starting again.

  3. Direct, test, refine

Use AI coding agents for implementation, then review the behaviour, the content and the details against the original purpose.

A creative eye.
An operational mind.

Working arrangements
Employment or contract work. European hours and some US overlap.

Native British English. Basic German. This site has a German translation.

I founded LUMORIA in 2023. My work sits between the business, the customer experience and the implementation: understanding what needs to happen, shaping the experience and staying with the details through delivery.

Alongside studio work, a retained creative engagement has grown from video editing into graphic design, creative direction and AI product consultancy. I work directly with founders on briefs, priorities and digital experience.

I also create VSLs and motion work with Hyperframes and Remotion, with brief experience using Hera. That production background helps me connect the product with how it is explained.

I lead AI-assisted development: I define the brief and workflow, direct implementation, and review the behaviour and visual details.

What I bring

  • Requirements & stakeholder communication
  • Workflow & customer-journey design
  • AI-assisted implementation direction
  • Responsive web & commerce experiences
  • Creative direction, VSLs & motion
  • Acceptance criteria & practical review

Something worth
building together?

I’m interested in implementation, onboarding, digital delivery and product work where business understanding and good execution belong together.
